When the Discovery Channel wanted to celebrate the 20 anniversary of Shark Week in a big way, they called on EMR Graphics to help them promote their annual TV event.

"To advertise the popular weeklong series, they wanted us to wrap some buildings in New York City," said Eric Rosencrantz, CEO/owner at the NJ-based EMR Graphics. "In addition to this project, we were also simultaneously wrapping buildings across the country for a host of big name clients including Evian, Jeep, Lexus, and Anheuser-Busch. With this influx of business, we needed to push out a large amount of work in a short period of time," he added.

In order the get all of this work produced in a timely manner, Rosencrantz turned to his arsenal of EFI/VUTEk equipment that includes an eight-color VUTEk UltraVU 3360 and a six-color VUTEk UltraVU 150. In addition, they were also in the process of installing a QS2000 flatbed.

Rosencrantz admitted he has been a lifelong veteran in the wrap business. "I started in the industry over 20 years ago when I was teenager. They used to call me ‘The Kid' and, being in the business at an early age, was a great educational opportunity for me. I continued to work in graphics houses while I attended college."

Over the years he worked for number of shops and then opened EMR in 1999. Today his nine-employee shop is housed in a 15,000 square-foot facility in Randolph, NJ.

Rosencrantz is amazed how quickly technology is changing the way they do business. "Today technology is getting more sophisticated allowing us to produce a wider variety of projects. Our ability to run a clean shop with new equipment has gotten us recognition from major material suppliers. This is allowing us to produce higher quality materials at more competitive prices," said Rosencrantz.

EMR Graphics is an approved vendor for 3M Scotchprint Graphics. "We are a full service shop and we are an authorized 3M Scotchprint manufacturer. Our experience and creativity combined with state-of-the-art equipment deliver superior products that are durable, hassle-free, and are guaranteed for five years," he said.
