Britten, Inc. Sponsors Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America
Britten, Inc. Press Release

Britten, Inc., a leading provider of large-scale, full-color banner solutions, is proud to announce that the company raised nearly $10,000 for the Kyle Petty Charity Ride for chronically ill children. Britten was a major sponsor of the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, launched in Traverse City, MI, on July 13, 2008.

In addition to raising donations from its employees and their friends and families, Britten supported the event by producing and installing a complete environmental graphics package for the launch. This included a spectacular Britten EventTruss starting arch; a large-scale event banner and assorted vinyl signage; Britten’s exclusive FenceScrim signage; and RotoTop flags and BannerBright light pole banners throughout Traverse City.

“We are proud to have supported this important initiative and to have raised money to help chronically ill children,” said Paul Britten, President and CEO, Britten. “Having been involved in NASCAR events over the years, it is an honor to work with the Petty family toward such a worthy cause. Their tireless work on behalf of the children is truly inspirational.”

The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America traveled more than 3,000 motorcycle miles from Traverse City to Savannah, Georgia. NASCAR driver and Charity Ride founder Kyle Petty led a field of more than 250 riders as they wound their way from the Midwest to the Deep South in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the Victory Junction Gang Camp and other charities that support chronically ill children. Riders departed from Traverse City on July 13, making overnight stops along the way before reaching Savannah on July 19.

Since the Charity Ride’s inception in 1995, 5,700 participants have logged more than 7.2 million cumulative motorcycle miles and more than $10.5 million has been raised.
