Color Control Freak 2008 Fall Schedule Announced
X-rite Press Release

X-Rite, Incorporated – Pantone and the color experts at X-Rite Color Services have announced the fall schedule of the company’s highly popular seminar “Color Control Freak”. With a popular spring series completed, X-Rite’s Color Control Freak 08 will again offer attendees an in-depth understanding of color, its value in the design process, and techniques for proper reproduction.

Sponsored by Pantone, HP, Eizo and X-Rite, this one-day interactive seminar equips design professionals with the latest color knowledge and tools, exposing a new level of design freedom. Industry experts will teach attendees basics in color trends and psychology as well as how to collect, build and specify color that remains consistent from screen to print. “Accurately capturing the desired color, and then reproducing it faithfully and consistently across communications in multiple media is imperative for maintaining the integrity of the design project.” said Richard Herbert, Executive Vice President of Pantone, Inc.

Here is what their “Color Freaks” said about their experience:

“Where do I start? Today’s seminar filled the gaps in my color workflow!! From profiles to calibration. It is all a lot more clear!” Christopher Vaughn, Vaughgo Photography and Design

“X-Rite is right on with its Color Control Freak training. I received so much valuable information that at first it appeared to be overwhelming but I also received a CD that I can reference again and again to ensure that my prepress work will ensue the desired printed product. I can’t wait to see how my projects look!” Bridget Gurtowsky, Gurtowsky Graphics LLC

“Knowledgeable, engaging, real world practice. The presenter gave great insights, reviews and kept on track. Fun. Positive.” Brad Elledge, Nosco
