Print ArticleDuPont Ink Jet today announced that Makro Art AG has purchased the new grand format DuPontArtistri 3320 textile printing system for its Zurich, Switzerland, manufacturing location.
“We purchased the Artistri3320 system to enhance our capabilities in producing grand format advertising banners, trade show displays, interior signage and other commercial textile printing applications where we can utilize the systems 3.3 meter wide format,” stated Franz Bussmann, managing director, Makro Art AG. He added, “This system allows Makro Art to produce beautiful, wide format displays and banners cost competitively and at superior quality levels versus conventional screening processes.”
Makro Art AG, has multiple locations in Switzerland and prints a diverse line of digitally produced display elements including vehicle wraps, trade show booth displays, jumbo building wraps, interior displays, signage and structures for promotional events and banners for a variety of commercial applications.
“Artistri is the culmination of DuPont expertise in synthetic textile fiber and digital ink development,” commented Kathleen Hall, global business director, DuPont Artistri. “The 3320 is our response to requests from customers and the industry for a grand format production capable printing system for a broad range of textiles,” Hall added. “We are very pleased to have Makro Art as our first graphics customer for this new system.”
