National Reprographics Inc. (NRI) has acquired Bay State Reprographics Inc., a Boston-area reprographics firm. Like National Reprographics, Bay State Reprographics is a founding member of ReproMax. ReproMAX is an international consortium of independent reprographics firms committed to excellence in advanced reprographics and imaging services. The acquisition expands NRI's strong foothold in the East Coast reprographics market.
"We are thrilled about the opportunity to acquire a firm with such an excellent reputation in the important Boston Metropolitan market," said Solomon Magid, president of NRI. "The scope of services offered by Bay State Reprographics makes it an excellent addition to the National Reprographics family."
As ReproMax Partners, NRI and Bay State Reprographics share the same philosophies and goals, rendering the acquisition nearly seamless. All Bay State Reprographics Associates, under the direction of general manager Ernie Lorandeau, will become members of the NRI family.
The addition of Bay State Reprographics serves as a natural progression from NRI's continued expansion and success in the Mid-Atlantic market. Solomon Magid said, "Our new Boston locations will allow NRI to bring its technological advances, quality assurance and customer service excellence to a new client base."
Founded 108 years ago, NRI, a New York-based digital imaging, document management and reprographics firm with nine locations throughout the country, employs close to 300 dedicated professionals servicing over 3,000 customers. The firm is a WBE, and in 1998 received a proclamation from Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for its success, accomplishments, and contributions to New York over the past 100 years.
