NUR Macroprinters today announced that Sign Artec, a Japanese-based large banner print house, has tripled its volume with the recent addition of the NUR Expedio 5000 to its production line.
Established in 1991 in Saitama-Pref, a suburb of Tokyo , Sign Artec quickly became one of the area's leading large format print houses, specializing in large side banner printing, sewing, and welding. With a team of 25 professionals, Sign Artec provides its customers with quality POPs, billboards, large format signage, and outdoor advertising banners.
"One of the many challenges facing our industry today is that we have virtually stopped using conventional screen printers," says Kenjiroh Yamaguchi, Director of Sign Artec. "We had to shift all of our print jobs over to a reliable, cost-effective digital ink jet printer without losing any customers. The NUR Expedio 5000 made the transition especially easy for us," he added.
Sign Artec evaluated several top-of-the-line production printers before deciding to purchase the NUR Expedio 5000. Comparison testing further proved that the output of the NUR Expedio was a record, 'triple' the capacity as compared to the company's two existing printers. Sign Artec management also reported that the NUR Expedio 5000 significantly lowered printing costs when compared to other solvent-based printers. "It was NUR Expedio 5000's advanced UV technology that sold us, and at the end of the day, this is what our customers look for in a quality print house," comments Yamaguchi.
"With our continued success in the Asian-Pacific printing market, valued customers like Sign Artec will help us establish and maintain the position of market leader," says Roni Klein , Managing Director, NUR Asia Pacific.
