Industry companies can display hosted promotional videos, such as those found on YouTube, directly through their company profile page. Photo galleries are also easily uploaded directly to their profile page. These new marketing features will dramatically increase the visibility of industry companies and their signage products and services to buyers searching on the signsearch network.
Online videos and photo galleries are everywhere on the Internet today. Internet users are familiar with the technology, and many companies in the sign and graphics industry already have these digital marketing assets. “Buyers searching on our site want to be informed decision makers,” says Debbie Erstad, marketing manager for signsearch, “and we’ve always had user-generated content and rich media on our site. Videos and photos are another powerful way we are enabling industry sellers to communicate with buyers.”
Hundreds of companies have already added either videos or galleries to their profile on signsearch.com, and buyer traffic to these new features is growing daily. Once a buyer performs a search, a camera or video icon on a company listing indicates that photos or videos are available to view on the company’s profile page.
Multiple videos can be presented on a company profile. Many have a tour of the company’s facility, an introduction to key employees, product demonstrations or live manufacturing and fabrication processes. Photo galleries showcase a company’s work. A single profile can have 3 separate photo collections with up to 27 images and descriptions.
