Print ArticlePIP Printing and Marketing Services has been ranked number 247 on the AllBusiness AllStar Franchise List, up from number 284 in 2008. The Top 300 listing, produced by allbusiness.com assesses the strengths of franchising companies.
According to allbusiness.com, "An improved financial health ranking (from #139 to #108) and growth ranking (from #288 to #267) earned PIP Printing and Marketing Services a higher spot on this year's AllStar list. PIP was a franchise pioneer in the printing industry, and franchisees benefit from the brand's excellent longevity (it ranked #34 in this category)." The criteria used to rank companies include: franchise unit growth rate, financial strength, system size, years in business, years franchising, availability of financing, and Web (brand) visibility.
"The PIP brand virtually launched the quick printing franchise industry back in the 60s," said Richard Lowe, president and COO of Franchise Services, Inc., the parent company of PIP. "For the brand to continue to be recognized and ranked as a franchise business leader is a testament to all of our franchise owners who work so hard to build their businesses and our brand."
